How will mentors and mentees be matched?

There are some criteria both mentees and mentors must meet before we can make a match.

1. Mentors and Mentees must reside within 5 time zones of one another -- but in different countries.

Timing and scheduling is the number one reason we see mentor matches fail. By only matching people within a few hours’ of each other, we hope to help you avoid this challenge. As a global community, we encourage mentors and mentees to connect with people from different countries than their own.

2. Mentors and Mentees must speak the same language.

While we provide interpretation on group calls, we only match mentors and mentees who can comfortably converse without interpretation support.

3. Once the mentee requests a mentor using the "Be my mentee" buttton, the Mentors will then get a chance to review the Mentees they have been matched with and share any concerns with the World Pulse team.
