At the current time, the mentoring program is only open to women and non-binary leaders.
Becoming a mentor is easy! Follow the steps below to start your World Pulse mentor journey:
- Make sure you have at least one Encourager badge.
- Go to the Digital Empowerment Training Suite and complete the Community Mentorship training. This includes:
- An orientation to the program and overview of expectations for signing up; and a training in unconscious bias.
- Complete the assignments: To earn your certificate, you will need to post a story reflecting on each video training.
Reach out to us using the orange chat bubble on the website to let us know when you have completed these steps. The World Pulse Community Moderation team will reply within 5-10 business days with confirmation of your acceptance to the program or more information. Upon acceptance to the program you will earn the World Pulse Community Mentor badge on your profile. For each 6-month mentoring session you complete you will receive additional mentor badges.
3. With your World Pulse Community Mentor Badge you can complete your mentoring profile.
