The World Pulse team selects Featured Initiatives based on a number of factors, including:

  • The innovative nature of the project shared
  • Clear identification of the goal, actions to be taken to achieve the goal, the intended impact to be achieved, and the community to be impacted
  • Relevance to current local and/or global issues
  • Consistent mapping of the story of your journey through impact updates
  • Resonance of the initiative among our community through engagement stats

Please note that we know that impact is as much about quality of impact as it is about quantity of impact! We are not looking for impressive impact numbers. An initiative that has impacted 3 people is as likely to be selected as an initiative that has impacted 3,000.

World Pulse aims to achieve diversity (including regional diversity) among the initiatives we select, and the number of initiatives we are able to award each month varies.

We value every initiative posted on World Pulse, and you're reaching thousands and inspiring the community just by sharing your impact journey!
