An affirmed comment is a story comment that the author has marked as helping them feel seen and validated for their experience.

If you receive a comment that you'd like to mark as an affirmed comment on your story, click the Affirmed icon. In addition to showing your community how to relate, we'll also let the commenter know that their comment was special to you.

If your comment was marked as an affirmed comment, you'll receive a notification that your comment positively impacted the author. Congrats!
