World Pulse collects three main types of data:

Profile Data – This includes the basic information members provide when joining the platform, such as name, location, interests, and areas of expertise.

Behavioral Data – We collect information on what members choose to do within the community (such as content contributions, interactions with posts and other members, participation in calls for stories and events, and collaboration with other members) to help us understand and improve member experience.

Impact Data – We gather insights on how members’ participation in World Pulse leads to real-world change. This includes personal and professional growth stories, network expansion, advocacy successes, and community-led initiatives. This data may be collected through the platform (e.g., initiative dashboards), through surveys or interviews, and other sources.

With all our data collection efforts, we strive to follow our community’s ethical guidelines for research and evaluation. Collecting this data ensures that we can continuously improve the platform, support our members effectively, and demonstrate our collective impact.
